Install was a bit tricky because if the motor not aligned exactly in the right spot, it will rub against the side, or it won’t run at all. Also, when I lined up the motor with the previous pre-drilled holes, it wouldn’t turn at all. I had to jimmy it around for awhile before I found the right alignment to allow it to turn. Also, if the the fan is not set at the proper height, it won’t run — this wasn’t mentioned at all in any install instructions. Once I got it aligned (and drilled new screws to set the motor), it works perfectly.

Inherited a 17 year old Incinolet toilet when I bought my lake-side camp a few years ago. We use it on weekends during the summer months. Toilet has always worked well, however I found it to be a bit noisy when in operation. I usually replace the blower wheel each spring, rather than trying to clean the old one. Never can get it clean enough and uneven build-up of grime can cause wheel to be wobble slightly (out of balance) and be noisy when running. Noticed more noise than usual last season. Pulled the motor and determined bearings were “grinding” a little. Assume this is the original motor. Previous owners didn’t pay much attention to servicing their equipment. I purchased/installed a new motor and wheel. Wow! What a difference. Unit is almost silent now when in operation. Glad I made the purchase when I did. Probably needed to be replaced when we bought the camp. Don’t want my toilet to “crap out” when I need it most! If you’re experiencing noise with your unit, check the motor. Might be time to replace it. Simple to do, takes about 15 minutes. Incinolet is well built and easy to service/repair. I expect to get many years of service from my toilet.
