We don’t own one yet but love the idea of how this unit works, no septic or water needed ! My husband and I are close to buying one for our new house but have a few questions before ordering. We know it needs a dedicated 20 amp outlet but what size wire do you recommend ? And for venting in a single story home, would venting through the attic, out to the soffits be adequate? Or out the wall as high as possible? We’re really trying to avoid putting a hole through the roof.

We installed the model CF this summer. The unit works well. There is no leveling ability if the floor is not true. Also, at 20″ to the seat, the unit is a bit high and tippy.

This part, the blower wheel should have also been made of stainless steel!

HI we have a few questions.
    1. I know it has to be vented outside, but can we extend the vent to the roof so it’s vented higher?
    2. Does the toilet get hot to where you would have to wait for it to cool down to use it?
    3. How soon do you guys forsee the propane model coming out?
    4. If we used the toilet all day (3adukts and a 3 yr old) could we run the cycle just once per day?
    5. I saw a review where it was stated if left in the basin, it will begin to smell?
    6. How much does to basin hold? How many poo”s and pee”s have been averaged when this was created?

    Thank you!

    P.s.
We live this and cannot wait to get a few!

I HAVE NOT PURCHASED THIS ITEM, BUT I AM UNABLE TO ASK A QUESTION WITHOUT PROVIDING A RATING. I DO NOT WANT TO SUBMIT A LOW RATING AS I DO NOT WANT IT TO AFFECT YOUR PRODUCTS RATING. SO I AM GIVING IT A 5.
MOVING FORWARD I HAVE A Question, my husband and I drive a semi truck cross country. We currently have an ARI (Legacy Sleepers) sleeper, our sleeper is 144 inches, of that, is 132-inch livable area. Our bathroom has a combination toilet and shower. I would love to use your product, as I wouldn’t have to worry about emptying out the cassette at a dump station. Currently, when we take a shower, water does go into the toilet. After we are done we open the compartment the water falls into the holding tank. We have a 7500-watt Owen generator, which we use for the rooftop air conditioner, I know that our inverter runs our Refrigerator and 1 electric outlet. The generator runs 2 outlets, a convection oven, and roof air, and charges our batteries when running. We basically have an RV that makes us money. We have a shell already for the current toilet (provided it fits) from the current toilet, problem being do you have a lid that will lock to seal water out of the bowl area to keep water out from the toilet itself? I know water and electricity don’t mix well… I haven’t found an area where I may attach a picture to show you more specifically. Guess you can go to legacysleepers.com to view, http://www.legacysleepers.com/2014-Peterbilt-386-with-144-Inch-ARI-Sleeper. Your thoughts and comments would be appreciated.

We’ve had our incinolet or 6 years and this year replaced the heating coil, thermocouple and fan for the first time. The incinolet is in our Treehouse and it gets used almost every day from May to November. The hardest part was removing the thermocouple. The instructions did not say “remove the thermocouple adapter” which was needed for the thermocouple to come out. After calling tech support, they suggested removing the “adapter” and the thermocouple came out easily. The new heating coil that was shipped to us came with only 1 nut and 1 washer on each threaded end. Tech support said it should have been shipped with 2 more nuts and washers on each threaded end and put some in the mail for me. Tech support was VERY helpful and I was glad I called.

Our Incinolet replaced a composting toilet in our Minnesota cabin. We used the composter for two seasons and I have to say it was the most disgusting thing ever. I installed the Incinolet in an afternoon and was sold on it the first time it was used. GREAT product!!!

Does the liner incinerate with everything else? Just curious…if not, how long do they last?
I am researching, don’t have enough info to review, but it sounds awesome. My late husband had one in his Comander in the early 70’s and swore by it.

As always, service is fast. I like the new larger size and quantity liners in the same size box. It’s nice to not have to store the extra boxes in our limited space- to say nothing of saving on shipping cost. Great product.
