How do you vent it outside without putting a hole in the wall ? Sorry if this is a stupid question but I won’t know if I don’t ask, thank you.

works like a dream! installation was easy and uncomplicated. purchased for use in our 5th wheel as our property doesn’t have a sewer system. it was pricey, but well under the cost of installing a sewer system. the only problem I see so far is I am relatively a short woman and sitting on this toilet my feet don’t touch the floor… Feel like a kid again! My daughter will be purchasing one for her 5th wheel as well. Thanks for a great product!

First I do not own one yet. Second I do know how solar works and you can run One of these on solar IF you also understand how solar works. First off Solar just charges a battery bank so you are really never running on solar. You are running off your battery banks. Second the amp drain would make this totally impractical to run on most solar energy systems. You guys wanting to run on solar really need to understand Amp Hours. My rough calculation puts one of these toilets at somewhere close to 196 amp hours. So yeah if you have a huge battery bank running 3,000 to 5,000 watt inverters and a ridiculous amount of solar panels. Think more than 10,000 watts of solar power. You are not going to want to be marginal with this on solar power because it will literally suck even a relatively large system dry and you still need power for other things.
So yeah it can be done but is not very practical. This is really a good chance to run your genset every so often. In fact it is perfect. A 5,000 watt genset would be perfect. Run that once a day or so for an hour and you are all set.
Honestly if I was going to run this on solar I would have a separate solar system set up just for it. It would be big. It would need to be designed for 4 times the use. Remember winter time and cloudy day times. Generator backup or enough batteries to run it a week with no charging.

We have an off grid cabin. I am pleased to know this is a doable option for us. However, I’ve read the questions and answers about the toilets use with solar.and I would like to know if the toilets incineration cycle happens every use or can it be cycled manually once or twice a day? That would make a difference whether we could size up the solar panels and battery bank or whether we would need to run a generator all day or just when we cycled the incineration process.

    Thanks in advance.

I’m looking to purchase, for a tiny house on steep terrain, that won’t allow a septic drain field.
Please show the colors of your toilet lids. They do not show anywhere; not even in the “shop” section. Blue sounds retro and fun, to me; but I’d like to see the color.

Are there any weight limits? Is the venting absolutely necessary? Can it be vented into a large garage or is it required to be vented to the outdoors? I was planning to use this as a standby in a small half bath in the event my septic system over fills from heavy rains.
