HOW IT WORKS

How Does an Incinolet Toilet Work Step by Step?

An Incinolet burns waste at high heat until only sterile ash remains. This answers the common question of how does an incinerating toilet dispose of waste. The heating element turns waste to ash in one cycle. Our toilet doesn’t use water or plumbing at any point.

Frequently Asked Questions

Incinolet is a waterless electric incinerating toilet. Instead of flushing waste away with water, it uses electric heat to reduce human waste to a small amount of sterile ash. It does not require a sewer connection, septic system, or water supply.

Before each use, a paper bowl liner is placed in the toilet. After use, press the foot pedal so the liner and waste drop into the incineration chamber, then press the start button. The heater and blower run automatically to reduce the waste to ash. Incinolet can still be used while an incineration cycle is running.

When properly installed and maintained, Incinolet is designed to minimize odors inside your bathroom. A built-in blower moves air through an odor-reducing system and vents it outdoors during the incineration cycle. Some odor may be noticeable outside near the vent while the unit is operating. Proper ventilation, using a bowl liner with every use, and regular maintenance help keep odors under control.

No. Incinolet uses no water and does not require traditional plumbing, drainage, sewer, or septic connections. It does require electricity and a properly installed vent to the exterior.

Incinolet can be used in homes, cabins, cottages, tiny homes, basements, guest houses, RVs, houseboats, workshops, barns, construction sites, commercial spaces, large transport vehicles, and other locations where conventional plumbing may be difficult or impractical.

Pricing varies by model, voltage, finish, and configuration. Current Incinolet models are priced in the several-thousand-dollar range. For the most accurate current price, visit the Incinolet product pages or contact the Dallas sales team.

Current product listings advise allowing approximately 2–4 weeks for toilet delivery, depending on the model and configuration. In-stock replacement parts generally ship much faster.

Installation is designed to be straightforward: set the unit in place, connect the vent pipe, and connect it to the required electrical circuit. Incinolet requires a dedicated 20-amp circuit, so electrical work should be completed in accordance with local codes and by a qualified electrician when required.

Incinolet offers a 30-day return period. To qualify, the toilet must be unused, undamaged, and returned in its original packaging with proof of purchase. A return authorization is required before sending the product back. Current return terms also list a $175 restocking fee for toilets.

Incinolet models are available in 120V and 240V configurations. Both require a dedicated 20-amp circuit with no other appliance connected to that circuit. Electrical requirements vary by model, so the correct unit should be selected for your installation.

Current Incinolet product listings and warranty documentation state a 3-year warranty against defects in workmanship or parts when the unit is properly installed, used, and maintained. Certain components, including heaters, may have different coverage terms.
